EXCELSIOR
The Excelsior Manxman has an alloy rod of such a design that the big end bearing outer race must be fitted in the Alpha Bearings factory. The bore of the outer race is finished after it has been fitted to the rod. This method ensures the outer race is perfectly round and limits the problems of high expansion caused by the alloy rod material.
