Royal Enfield

Owners of an Indian Enfield "Bullet" engines currently supplied with the original design of floating bush big end bearing will be pleased to learn that the roller bearing conversion is a direct replacement. No additional work is required other than the standard fitting procedure. The roller bearing conversion for both the Royal and Indian Enfield machines can give substantially better service than the floating bush assembly. Many early Royal Enfield machines use discrete main bearings comprising; Main shaft, cage, rollers and outer race. All of these items are manufactured by Alpha Bearings and have been shown below with the corresponding REM part numbers.
