Rudge
All Rudge bearings are used in conjunction with hardened connecting rods. In every case the con rod has to be returned to our factory for reconditioning. The big end eye is usually ground out and a hardened liner fitted. In many cases the small end eye either does not require reconditioning or has a sufficiently wide section to allow the fitting of a liner. In some cases the small end is not repairable and this renders the con rod unserviceable.
